Autumn, crystal clear lakes, forever forests and little towns … more wildlife than people. Maybe you’re in the International Selkirk Loop, in the Pacific Northwest, in the states of Washington and Idaho and the province of British Columbia.

The driving loop is close to 300 miles long … but Tortuga has so far only relaxed in a small part. That’s Hooknose Mountain in the distance, in Washington.

The Pend Oreille River winds north into British Columbia before it joins the Columbia on its way to the Pacific Ocean.

Beautiful places to stay …

… not crowded …

… and peaceful.

But wait … there’s more …

There of plenty of time for some dim sum too 😃
Looks like a good route choice.
It is indeed … yet I was enriched by your Broomholmshiels tour! Stunningly beautiful!!!
