Remember that old game “Simon says?” Well, Tortuga says: “Stop! Look back!” And I did.
It was baseball season … time to relax and watch a game, watch the people, enjoy the hot dogs and ice cream, the cheers and the groans! Oh, a warm end-of-summer breeze feels good as the drama unfolds … and the story is told. Yes, we enjoyed the game far into the evening …

… while the little ones enjoyed other events at the ballpark: this day, a meeting of all the Disney princesses. Snow White, Elsa and Anna, Arial, Aurora, Rapunzel, Pocahontas and more. Eyes all dazzled, shy smiles.

And later a visit to another little town with locally owned coffee shops (here at Mountain Moka in Sandy Oregon). Sit, again to enjoy the autumn breeze, watch the scene up and down the main street.

And yet another day, fix up some fast food in our tiny home …

In the rush of activity this tortuga sometimes forgets to look back and recall the wonder of recent events. William Blake noted in his work “Eternity”:
He who kisses the joy as it flies
Lives in eternity’s sunrise.
Loved the look of your instant meal. The quote was thought-provoking.
A short little poem by Mister Blake … from the 1800’s.
