Tortuga enjoys time by the river. The Methow River winds through an area known as “Early Winters”. Called that because this valley is sheltered from much winter daylight, and it is right next to the Cascades where it gets a lot of precipitation and snow, it’s a favorite to those looking for winter jaunts into the great unknown.

But my driver is just enjoying the bracing waters … invigorating waters … clear waters. In cool forests … quiet forests … unpopulated forests.

Time to gaze up the rivers … down the rivers … and be refreshed.

And be refreshed.
