Waiting for the parade.
It’s October. Festival time. Parades. Simple joys!
Horses, dogs, festival queens, old cars, candy freely tossed to the kids …

… followed with fresh apple cider …

… beautiful classics …

… and booths of food, candles, picture cards, quilts, carved wooden delights, scents! Ahh, the piece de resistance – a little corner to pet furry bunnies!

Lady Mary Montgomerie Currie, under the name of Violet Fane, penned “Tout vient a qui sait attendre” … roughly “all things come to those who wait.” That was in the 1800’s.
Today, at the Marcus CiderFest, it was true. Nice.
Great pictures and you specialise in excellent quotes too.
