Arise

Now the golden Morn aloft
Waves her dew-bespangled wing,
With vermeil cheek, and whisper soft
She woos the tardy Spring

notes Thomas Gray, in his “Ode on the Pleasure Arising from Vicissitude” … written in the mid 1700’s.

The frozen lakes have gone away.
The hot comfy soups …
… will give way to…
… other things. Oh well.
Spring arises …
… breakfast choices change …
… eggs for brunch …
… shrimps for dinner.

Tortuga loves traveling. Winter in peaceful places, tours in the western towns and cities, and now the blooming changes that spring will bring 😃

Yes … no more of this for awhile!

The tardy spring has come to the rest. Welcome indeed!
