Sizzling Summer

Travelling Tortuga passed through Phoenix in the sizzling days of late July. They said it was 119F … “but it’s just a dry heat.” Indeed.

Nonetheless, the skies were beautifully blue. The palm trees reached for the sun. The air was filled with the gentle hum of A/C’s dutifully working their magic. And, Tortuga had passed some beautiful scenes coming here from the north.

Bryce Canyon, Red Canyon, Hoodoos and stunning views. Just up the road from Phoenix.

Before that, we cruised down the Montana-Utah Road … now called Interstate 15.

Unhurried travelling … with stops at local eateries. Here a row of Tesla charging stations sits unused.

July is toasty. Just glowing a little less in some places.

Hoping that your summer is sizzling … as in full of pizzazz and excitement!
