“They” say: don’t start planting stuff until the snow is gone from Mt. Spokane. Well it’s almost May, for crying out loud!

Among the many stops last month, we headed out for a famous Clayton Burger!  Burger, cheese, hot dog, and lots of other stuff packed into a bun. Health food it’s not – but awesome good! Huckleberry shakes too! Not for a tortuga!

Hmmm … they still have Christmas stuff out …

Oh well … just ignore what the locals think, and move on.

Even after all the years here, we planted seeds in April. They sprouted. It snowed. They turned yellow, and gave up the ghost. And there’s still snow on Mt. Spokane.

Crank up the heat, we’re going camping!
