So hush little baby, don’t you cry.

The weather is cooling down just a little, and the days are getting shorter. A warning that the sweet warmth of the summer sun and the lazy pace of the passing days is coming to an end. A reminder that our days are indeed numbered, and we should enjoy the goodness of each one. So hush, little baby … lets return to that uncrowded riverside campground we passed a while back.

Here it is ... just as crowded as before.
Here it is … just as crowded as before.

And this spot, on the end, it perfect for inside or outside enjoyment!

Number 9 of 9.
Number 9 of 9.

Just enough time to walk around before nightfall. A soft cool breeze wafts over the water, and all is quiet. On the other end, at campsite number 1, another truck camper sits out with a fire, looking at his boat, ready for some early morning fishing.

Our only neighbor.
Our only neighbor.

Good night moon …

Soon enough morning brightens the windows ...
Soon enough morning brightens the windows …
... and it's time for a little breakfast ...
… and it’s time for a little breakfast …

… and time to enjoy the warm summer sun.

Yup ... I could live here.
Yup … I could live here.

It is really hard to concentrate … with all the people passing by.

A family meanders by
A family meanders by

And especially hard to think when this is all you can see.

Imagine having to look at this all day long ...
Imagine having to look at this all day long …
... and all evening too!
… and all evening too!
Just another summer day.
Just another summer day.

Enjoy. Hush and enjoy. Don’t you cry … there is beauty all around us still.
