The livin’ is easy, yes, but also hot and somewhat humid.  Time for a lazy, peaceful drive … I think languid is the term.  Young osprey are waiting to spread their wings in the PNW.

We’re just taking an afternoon drive, cooling off on the side roads, staying close to the water supply!

In 1915, this was the world’s highest dam.  In that year over 500 workers and families lived close by … and now, it’s all farmland as far as we can see.  Lake Spokane is full of fish and swimming spots … and little communities.

Closing out a warm day, the locals are enjoying the breezes.  You don’t have to travel far to watch the buffalo roam!
