Escaping from the few large cities in the West takes you to farm country … to places where pretension is gone, and peace is prized. And, on these back roads, there’s something comforting about seeing old barns resting in the fields – sometimes surrounded by grazing herds; sometimes still being used; sometimes left to tumble at the hands of the weather. For those traveling in a TC (truck camper), it’s a signal to stop, take a rest, and enjoy the view. Here’s a few we saw just out of town …
