It’s early autumn, the days are warm and the nights very cool. My driver is heading back into the mountains of eastern Oregon … for a little peace, and a change of the scenery. No traffic except for a few horses and riders.

There’s even a few salmon who made it up this far … they look like they’re done, though!

It has been a very busy year, and this is the perfect place to live for awhile. When you have your home always with you, it’s sometimes disorienting to look out the window and see …?

Ah, Robert Frost notes in his “Tree at my Window”
Tree at my window, window tree,
My sash is lowered when night comes on;
But let there never be curtain drawn
Between you and me.

… and, as always, simply living well!
